Dunedin, Last Night The Dunedin Jockey Club’s winter meeting concluded in fine weather though ■ it was dull at times. The track was rather slower than on the two previous days but the racing again provided much interest for a moderate crowd. The totalisator handled £10,375 10s (win £5351, place £5024 10s), compared with £9719 ( (seven races) for the third day of the winter meeting last year. The total for the three days was £42,789, compared with £40,018 10s last year. When French Fleet fell in the Wingatui Steeplechase yesterday he broke his neck.
