IMPROVEMENTS TO CLUB ROOM. The installation 'of a clock in the club room of the St. Andrews troop of Boy Scouts at New Plymouth is proving a 1 great help for keeping the evening proi gramme to time-table. Where previously 5 signs had to be given for certain things i to be done, these things are now auto- ’ matically undertaker, by the leader in - charge of the work by the clock. i - The changing of the lighting to indirr ect is a marked improvement for games, i It is proposed to remove the front porch - to give greater floor space and the boys - hope to make a ping-pong table top when ; suitable timber can be obtained. t A spectacular display of electric club - swinging was presented on Friday eveni ing at the clubroom by Mr. Anderson, formerly of Auckland, and his two boys.
