QUEEN OF THE WEST CARNIVAL.
The Queen of the West carnival will conclude next Tuesday. The Kaponga centre, which is supporting Princess Sadie, has decided to close its efforts with a carnival ball. Strong efforts are being made to make the ball the most enjoyable held at Kaponga this year. A spoon and fork supper will be served, many novelty dances will be arranged and streamers and confetti will be in abundance. A foxtrot and a waltzing competition will be conducted on a sWeepstake basis, and dance music will be played by the ever-popular Hookers’ dance orchestra. A free bus will run from Okaiawa and others will be aranged if necessary.
