LEAGUE CLUB BALL
I SUCCESSFUL GATHERING. The New Plymouth Cycle and Athletic League’s King’s Birthday ball in the Agricultural Hall last night was an outstanding success. The big dancing space was crowded to overflowing, those present including visitors from all over North Taranaki. The dancers were in carnival mood and everything proceeded with a swing from start to finish. The big birthday cake proved a great attraction, the special prizes being won by Mrs. A. Roberts, Mrs. Elliott, Miss A. Faulkner, Miss Collie and Mr. L. Bagley. Vinsen’s Ambassadors provided spirited music. Messrs. J. Donaldson and H. Bocock were masters of ceremonies.
