When the Monowai, which arrived at Sydney to-day, was a few hours out from Auckland a young couple informed the captain they were stowaways. The hfisband was anxious to get to Australia to obtain employment. With the aid of acquaintances aboard the husband managed to pay his wife’s fare. The passengers subscribed the husband’s fare and their trouble for the time being ended. The husband states that he and his wife walked aboard the ship at the last moment.
