PUNGAREHU EVENINGS
ANGLICAN CHURCH FUNDS HELPED. A series of social evenings is being held in aid of the Pungarehu baby candidate for Anglican Church funds A satisfactory evening was held at Mrs. S. Goodin’s residence on Wednesday. Musical and elocutionary items were given, and progressive euchre was won by Mrs. J. W. Priest 1, Mrs. J. Goodin (Warea) 2; Mr. P. L. Brennan 1, Mr. G. Watt £. Community singing by the party concluded the evening. Owing to the boisterous weather the attendance was not as large as expected.
