STRATFORD OLD BOYS HALT OPUNAKE ■ / FIRST DRAWN GAMES OF THE SEASON 'THESE was little alteration in the positions of the leading ' teams of the Taranaki senior Rugby competition after the Sixth round matches on Saturday, when the first drawn games Of the season were played. Stratford preserved its unbeaten record by defeating a confident Kaponga fifteen, while Tukapa defeated New Plymouth Old Boys. Opufla'ke’s run of success was checked by Stratford Old Boys, who held the coastal team to a draw. Hawera and Eltham moved up together following a similar result, but Clifton, which has been beaten only once this season, by Stratford, is now definitely in fourth place as the result of a win against Athletic.
