JULIAN CUP DRAW
MATCHES IN THE FIRST ROUND. The draw for the first round of the Julian Cup Association football competition in Taranaki, which was started two Saturdays ago, was completed at a meeting of the Taranaki Football Association at Stratford last night. The remainder of the fixtures for the first round are:— May 11: Stratford v. Manaia, at Manaia; Hawera v. Thistle, at Hawera; Albion v. Moturoa, at New Plymouth. May 18: Stratford v. Albion, at Stratford; Hawera v. Manaia, at Manaia; Moturoa v. Thistle, at New Plymouth. May 25: Stratford v. Thistle, at New Plymouth; Hawera v. Moturoa, at Hawera; Albion v. Manaia, at New Plymouth. Games to be played owing to the late entry of Manaia are: Manaia v. Moturoa, at New Plymouth; Manaia v. Thistle, at Manaia. Dates will be arranged by the teams concerned.
