SMALL BOAT SUNK
END OF ROUND WORLD CRUISE. ONE OF ADVENTURERS DROWNED. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright Calcutta, April 29. Tragedy ended the adventures of Ernest Gruenfeld and Temmel when a small boat in which they were sailing round the world sank during a storm in the Bay of Bengal. Temmel was drowned and Gruenfeld swam miles to Sandwipi Island, where he was picked up by a passing steamer. Gruenfeld sailed from Vienna in 1931. He now possesses only a shirt and a pair of borrowed shorts.
