COHESION IN THE EMPIRE COMMISSION PROPOSED PROBLEMS OF COMMERCE DUTIES OF PREPARATION By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Rec. 12.30 a.m. London, May 2. At the instance of a Birmingham delegation the Association of the British Chambers of Commerce at the annual meeting to-day unanimously decided that the full benefit of Empire economic cohesion would be facilitated by the creation at London of a permanent preparatory commission, on which there would be full Dominion representation. The work of the commission would be to study the interlocking interests of industry and agriculture and overcome difficulties in the practical application of the Ottawa agreements.
