RULING ASKED FOR

SOCCER SUBSCRIPTION NOT PAID. PROTEST BY THE MOTUROA CLUB. A protest against an unfinancial member of the Moturoa Football Club last season playing for another club this season is to be made to the Taranaki Football Association, which will be asked to give a ruling on the question under rule 13. The decision was made after the . position of the player had been discussed at the adjourned annual meeting of the club last night. Mr. G. E. Roper presided. The delegates of the club were instructed to ask the Taranaki Football Association to form a northern sub-com-mittee to deal with matters affecting New Plymouth teams. The club will also suggest that the St. John Ambulance Association be asked to send one* of its members to each soccer match. The following officers were elected:— Patron, Mr. T. Lovegrove; president, Mr. A. H. Bensley; vice-presidents, Messrs. G. E. Roper, R. J. Page, W. R. Adams, T. Gordon, J. Atkinson, J. Sceats, H. Price; ..secretary and treasurer, Mr. P. Gardner; delegates to Taranaki Football Association, Messrs. E. Kenny and P. Gardner; club and vice-captains, to be appointed by the team; custodian, Mr. E. Kenny.
