GENERALLY FAIR TO FINE
EXPECTATION OF GOOD WEATHER. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. A few isolated and mainly coastal showers are expected, but for the most part the weather will be fair to fine, with lbw to moderate temperatures, states the 4 p.m. forecast. An anticyclone now extends from eastern Australia on to New Zealand, while a series of slight depressions is moving along its southern border. Winds will be south-easterly to westerly, light to moderate generally, but freshening at times about and south of Cook Strait. Seas will be moderate.
