The aim,,of the Rangiriri Club is to develop the latent abilities of the girls, literary, musical, artistic and dramatic; and to broaden tjieir outlook by hearing specialists On various subjects. It was introduced from Wellington College in 1928 by Miss B. A. Jackson and absorbed the old Reading Club.

’ A reading club was the first school club. It was formed in 1912 by Miss C. D. Grant, who selected a list of good books for the girls to read and it flourished until 1927.

The old girls have held two re-union dinners, one in 1919 and one in 1923.
