By Telegraph—Press Association. Christchurch, April 17., Though the Canterbury Jockey Club’s meeting opens on Monday there is very little exciting track work yet. The Southlander Tauramai is the only visitor on the scene. He looks well and did a working gallop over a mile on the plough this morning. The local horses were all restricted to useful pacing. Fleeting Glance jumped two brush hurdles three times.

Jolly Beggar went twice over the same two obstables. Both schooled very well. DARK MARBLE SCRATCHED. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, April 17.
