Prices hardened slightly under the influence of a good consumptive demand, but there is some doubt whether the position can be maintained much longer as the quantities afloat from Australia, New Zealand and Argentina exceed 1,314,000 boxes. Much depends on whether America will continue to buy Australian and New Zealand butter.
