The inquiry regarding the running of the Ruatangata Handicap at Whangarei on Saturday was concluded by the judicial committee of the Whangarei Racing Club to-night. The race was won by Royal Potoa, with Orefield second and Gay Cockade third. The result of the inquiry was that O. Mclnally was disqualified under rule 295 for six months for his riding of Gay Cockade, and J, H. Mcßae, rider of Royal Potoa, was suspended for one month under rule 302.
