OFFICERS OF FOOTBALL CLUB. The annual meeting.of the football dub was held at Ahititi, Mr. C. Gray presiding over a fair attendance. Sympathy was expressed with the relatives of the late Mr. Keith Astwood, captain of the junior team last season.
The balance-sheet showed a credit of £2 0s Bd. The election of officers resulted:—President, Mr. C. Gray; vice-presidents, 10 elected; secretary and treasurer, Mr. L. Anderson; vice-captain, Mr. L . Johnson; coach, Messrs. F. Fitzgibbon (forwards), and A. O’bonnell (backs); delegates, Messrs. I. Johnson, £. Gray and M. Cunningham; selectors, Messrs. M. Cunningham, I. Johnson and the captain of the senior team.
The club decided to pay 2s towards the cost of each jersey, players to pay the balance.
