AUROA CROQUET EVENT
COMPETITION AFTERNOON HELD. A competition afternoon was held on the Auroa croquet green on Thursday afternoon, when there was a good attendance of members. Mrs. MacDonald and Mrs. Wills, Manaia, were present as visitors. The green was in excellent order for playing, Mr. W. Brown and Mr. A. Webby having mowed it during the morning. Results of competitions were: Ladder, Mrs. Johns; hurry scurry, Mrs. King and Mrs. Sheerin; hitting the peg, Mrs. E. F. Sandford; ringing the bell, Mrs. Wills; golf, Mrs. Webby; clock, Mrs. Everitt; French croquet, -Mrs. Everitt.
