The Prince of Wales, broadcasting in connection with the King’s jubilee fund, said that over a million boys and girls between the ages of 14 and 16 were without the opportunities for games and self-development to which they were entitled and which the trust aimed to provide. Subscriptions and offers of help had already been received from every comer of the Empire and United States.
