COLLIERY DISPUTE ENDS
MEN RETURN TO PUPONGA PIT.

A 16 weeks’ dispute at the Puponga colliery, Nelson, has been settled, all unionists starting work. A tonnage payment will replace day wages. Rates will be 8d a ton above any West Coast rate. Mechanical ventilation is being installed.
