SUPREME COURT’S RETURN, BEING TRAINED AT HAWERA.

The racehorse Supreme Court, which was the subject of much comment in Australia recently, is back in New Zea? land, arriving at Hawera on Friday. At present he is located at J. Fryer’s stables.

Supreme Court, by Gainseourt from the Romeo mare Festina Flute, was taken to Australia by C. McDowell, who failed to obtain a trainer’s permit, and the horse's nominations were refused. He was subsequently forcibly taken from the stables of A. Cain, Kensington, when that trainer was absent. He was afterwards re-: turned to Cain’s stable, but was not raced.

Supreme Court is a four-year-old gelding, and last season was considered a promising proposition for Australia. He started on five occasions last season, beitfg placed in three events and raced in the ownership of Mr. G. Henderson, who later disposed of him to Dr. Simpson, Westport. At present he is a bit in the rough and will require time to get into racing shape. Supreme Court’s future will be watched with interest.
