WOOL PRICES FIRM AT SYDNEY.
By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Rec. 10.15 p.m. Sydney, April 11. A catalogue of 12,625 bales was offered at the Sydney wool sales to-day, and 11,546 bales were sold. A further 1684 were sold privately. There was keen general competition, with increased German support. The market closed very firm at equal to the best rates of the week. Greasy Merino sold at up to 17Ad.
