MILFORD ROAD WORK
MOST DIFFICULT PORTION OVER.
WITHIN FIVE MILES OF TUNNEL.

Advance workers on the Te Anau-Mil-ford road have now reached the 58-mile peg, which is approximately within five’ miles of the eastern entrance to the tunnel. These five miles will present much easier work than .heavy and difficult ground which has been completed.
