RANGITIKEI SEAT CANDIDACY.
TRIBUTES TO FINANCE MINISTER.

Marton, April 10.
At a meeting of Coalition supporters representative of the whole of the Rangitikei electorate the sitting member, Mr. A. Stuart, was enthusiastically endorsed as the candidate for the general election.
The following resolution was also conveyed to the Finance Minister, Mr. J. G. Coates: “That a vote of appreciation is accorded you for the splendid services rendered the Dominion during your term of office. This meeting fully appreciates the difficulties with which you have been confronted during the past two years and recognises that the capable manner m which you handled all the problems. f ac " ing you and successfully accomplished has placed the Dominion on a safer footing to contend with future welfare.
