FLIGHT FROM LONDON TO PARIS. COMET PURCHASED BY FRANCE. British Wireless. Rugby, April 8. The De Havilland Comet machine which Messrs. S. Cathcart-Jones and K. Waller flew from England to Australia and back in. 13'A days and which, with a second, machine of the same type, has been bought by the French Government, will to-morrow be flown from Croydon to Le Bourget in the hope of breaking the existing record of 67 minutes for the journey. The distance in a straight line is 220 miles and the Comet is expected to take about 45 minutes.
