COASTAL MOVEMENTS. The Karepo left New Plymouth last night for Greymouth, where she will load for Wellington, Auckland and New Plymouth, being due at New Plymouth about Tuesday next. (U.S.S. Co.). The Hauturu left Onehunga yesterday for New Plymouth, where she is due at 9 a.m, to-day to discharge 150 tons of general cargo. She will sail later for Wanganui.. (Northern Co.) The Kiwltea called at New Plymouth yesterday and discharged , a quantity of coal from Greymouth. She proceeded to Westport and Grey mouth to load for Wellington and New Plymouth, being due at the latter port on Tuesday. (U.S.S.. Co.) The Orepuki loaded at Dunedin on Thursday for New Plymouth, where she is due via Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington and Nelson on Saturday. (U.S.S. Co.).

MOVEMENTS OF OVERSEAS SHIPS.

SYDNEY MARU SAILS. The Sydney Maru," which arrived at New Plymouth on Saturday from Hobart With A cargo of sulphur from Japan, sailed last night for Auckland, Wellington and Sydney. At New Plymouth she discharged 1000 tons of sulphur and loaded 116 tons of casein. NUDDEA AWAITING ORDERS. The Nuddea is at anchor in the stream at New Plymouth awaiting orders from her principals. BUOY REPLACES BEACON. The Auckland Harbour Board advises mariners that Rough Rock beacon in Rangitoto Channel has been destroyed and a new beacon will be erected as soon as possible. In the meantime the rock is marked by a black and white horizontally striped conical buoy. lONIC AT WELLINGTON.

The Shaw, Savill and Albion liner lonic, from London, berthed at Wellington at 8 o’clock on Monday morning, her arrival having been delayed by a westerly gale. She is to leave Wellington again to-day for Auckland to complete discharge of her London cargo, and to commence her English loading. She is due at New Plymouth on April 20.

BIG LOG REPORTED. The Marine Department advised yesterday that a large tree 30 to 40 feet long had been reported floating yesterday in latitude 40 deg. 55 min. south, longitude 174 deg. 25 min. east.
