On 18th April, train (for stops see booklet) leaves New Plymouth 8.0 p.m. for Wanganui, Wellington and Napier connecting with train from Waitara. Special night express leaves Wellington for New Plymouth 11.35 p.m. on 18th April and New Plymouth for Wanganui and Wellington 10.10 p.m. on 22nd April (for stops see booklet or inquire at stations). On 18th April special express, making usual stops, leaves New Plymouth 10.30 p.m. for Taumarunui and Auckland. Connecting train leaves Hawera 10.45 p.m. The 7.10 p.m. New Plymouth-Taumaru-nui-Auckland express also runs on 23rd April. The 12.45 a.m. Taumarunui-New Plymouth express (from Auckland previous day), also runs on 18th and 23rd April. OPUNAKE BRANCH: The 9.3 a.m. Hawera-Opunake and 12.40 p.m. Opun-ake-Hawera trains will run on 20th April but not on 22nd. April. SPECIAL EXCURSION TICKETS, available for return until Tuesday, 23rd April, will be issued to Hawera or Hawera Racecourse by morning trains only, on 20th and 22nd April from New Plymouth, Waitara, Wanganui and intermediate stations, also from Tangarakau and intermediate stations on 20th April only. ANZAC DAY, APRIL 25. The ordinary timetable will be suspended with exception of the usual Auckland-Wellington express trains (leaving Auckland 24th April) and the Limited express from Wellington, 25th.
