EVETTS—MARTIN.

On Thursday, March 21, a wedding was solemnised between Leta Runa Joyce Martin, elder daughter of Mrs. W, H. Martin, New Plymouth, and Jack Boyde Evetts, Inglewood. As she entered the church with her father, the bride was met by the choir, of which she is a member. She wore a gown of white satin, while her veil was of Chantilly caught at the head with a spray of orange blossoms. To complete the effect she carried a shower, bouquet of chrysanthemums and maidenhair fern. The bridesmaid was Miss Phyllis Martin, sister of the bride, who wore a frock of white satin. The best man was Mr. Keith Hodges, Inglewood. The Inglewood fire brigade formed a guard of honour, Mr. Evetts being a member. The Rev. H. J. BoydBell was the officiating minister. The wedding breakfast was held at Mr. Frayer’s tea rooms. The bride's travelling frock was of grey, with hat and shoes to tone. Their future home will be at Inglewood.
