ALMOST SUBMERGED
BEACHING OF PORTLAND MARU. CREW ABANDONS THE VESSEL. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright Adelaide. March 22. The Japanese vessel Portland Maru, which was beached in a sinking condition, is now so far submerged that only the superstructure is showing above the water. The crew has left the vessel.
