EGMONT VILLAGE HALL
DANCE HELD FOR FUNDS. The Egmont Village hall committee held a dance in the hall on Tuesday evening. A good attendance included visitors from neighbouring districts, as well as New Plymouth and Inglewood. Music was played by the Maori string band, with extras by Miss Patterson, Kaimiro. Messrs. R. Gyde and F. Thomson were masters of ceremonies. Two Monte Carlo waltzes were won by Miss M. Bowen and Mr. J. Dryden and Master* C. Balsom and Miss I. Lethbridge. Supper was handed round by members of the hall committee.
