DISAPPEARS AT SEA
STEWARD ON LINER MONTEREY. PROMINENT UNIONIST MEMBER. By Telegraph—Press Association. “* Auckland, March 22. Two days after the Monterey left Los Angeles a steward, F. Ryan, disappeared. An Australian by birth, he was married at Sydney only*four months ago. He was a prominent unionist and was delegate on the Monterey of the United States Stewards’ Union. His shipmates said he was one of the most popular men in the Matson Line.
