KING TO IGNITE THE FIRST. CELEBRATION OF JUBILEE. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright London, March 19. It is understood that the King will ignite at 9.55 p.m. on May 6 a huge wooden beacon built by Boy Scouts as a signal to the Boy Scouts to set fire to a chain of bonfires in 50 countries, which will be their contribution to the jubilee celebrations. The King will himself give the signal for the lighting of the chain by pressing an electric button in Buckingham Palace at 9.45 p.m., which will light a beacon in Hyde Park.
