SUGAR CANE PESTS
GIANT TOADS AS EXPERIMENT. INTRODUCTION IN QUEENSLAND. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Brisbane, March 21. The sugar experimental station proposes to import into Queensland giant toads to control sugar cane pests. An attempt will be made to breed the toads, after which the first generation will be liberated in the grub-infested, areas.
