Sympathy with Mr. J. Lobb, president of the Westown Golf Club, and hopes for his speedy recovery were expressed at the first annual meeting of the club last night. A vote of sympathy with the relatives of the late Mr. L. Gilbert, an honorarymember of the club, was passed at the annual meeting of the Western Suburbs Rugby League Club at New Plymouth Last night. Mr. L. G. Loveridge, now of Christchurch, has passed the final examination for Associate Membership of the Institute of Structural Engineers, London.
