TARIKI DISTRICT NEWS
METHODIST HARVEST FESTIVAL. A festival service was held in the Tariki Methodist Church on Sunday afternoon, the Rev. H. Spencer, Eltham, being the preacher. Mr. Griffiths Jones was the organist. Visitors were present from Norfolk Road and Waipuku. Flowers and greenery were used for the decorations, which were the work of Messrs. Jones Bros. Personal Items. Mr. and Mrs. E. James visited Auckland ht the week-end. Mr. and Mrs. L. Loveridge have returned to Tariki. Mr. Loveridge spent his holidays fishing. Mrs. W. Laurence has returned to Tariki after a short visit to Eltham. Mrs. J. Hucker, Surrey Road, is still a patient in the New Plymouth hospital. She is progressing very satisfactorily.
