SALE OF PEDIGREE PIGS. NEW PLYMOUTH SUCCESS. A sale of purebred pigs was held under ideal conditions at the New Plymouth showgrounds yesterday by Messrs. Newton King Ltd. The animals were well brought out for the occasion and there waS a full entry of 95 head. A large attendance of buyers from all parts of Taranaki, as far south as Waverley, was present, and the tone of the sale, generally speaking, was entirely successful. In many cases, particularly in rhe Tamworth and Berkshire sections, prices exceeded expectations, brisk bidding reaching up to 9gns.
