An enjoyable dance on Wednesday evening, *was organised by Messrs. W. Dawkins, C. Manning, J. Paul, A. Manning and S. Bellamy. A large attendance included visitors from Toko, Kiore and surrounding districts. The hall Was deedrated with blue aiid gold Streamers and lycopodium. Music was played by Vinsen’s Ambassador’s Orchestra, with extras by Misses B. Kopke, J. Hammond and A. Coyne. Mr. W. Elder contributed a step-dance. Mr. Dawkins Was master of Ceremonies. A Monte Carlo waltz was won by Mr. ahd Mrs. L. Mourisey.
A party of young people paid a surprise visit to Mr. and Mrs. T. McArthur on Friday evening. Games were played and community singing was led by Mr. J. Dela Rue.
Personal Items. Mrs. M. Kendall is Spending a holiday at New Plymouth. Miss B. KopkO is visiting Wanganui as the guest of her sister, Mrs. J. Moore. Mr. and Mrs. C. Henderson recently paid a short visit to MakahU.
