BAPTIST SOCIAL
ENJOYABLE EVENING SPENT. The parishioners of the Baptist Church, New Plymouth, held a successful social gift evening on Tuesday. Mr. J. A. Valentine presided. The programme was provided by Mr. A. Slinger (song), Mr. .V. Andrews (song), Rev. S. Jenkins and Mrs. Jenkins (vocal duet), Mrs. A. W. Diprose (’cello solo), Miss J. Elliot, (song).. Mr. G. Wallace led community singing. Accompaniments were played by Mesdames Diprose, Jenkins and Miss Campbell. Mr. Jenkins gave a talk on a tour through the Wairarapa and northern South Island districts. . Supper was provided by Mesdames V. Richardson, P. Hoby and A. Elliot.
