TO REJOIN SQUADRON
H.M.S. HOOD SAILS FOR MALTA. REPAIRS QUICKLY EFFECTED. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Rec. 7 p.m. London, March 6. The damage sustained by H.M.S. Hood, flagship of the battle-cruiser squadron, in the recent collision with H.M.S. Renown, has been quickly repaired by the naval dockyard at Portsmouth, and, flying the flag of Rear-Admiral Bailey, the Hood left yesterday to rejoin the fleet at Malta. H.M.S. Renown will dock at Portsmouth next Friday for repairs, which are likely to take longer to complete. '
