DELHI EARTHQUAKE
SHOCKS OVER LARGE AREA. SEVERAL SLIGHTLY INJURED. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Calcutta, March 6. A large area of Northern India was shaken at midnight and at 4 o’clock in the morning by severe earthquake shocks. The epicentre is believed to be Western Nepal. The tremors were specially severe at Delhi and in the neighbourhood. People rushed into the open spaces and a few houses collapsed. Several persons were slightly injured but so far no extensive damage is reported.
