BAN ON TASMANIAN POTATOES.
VICTORIAN DECISION GIVEN.

The Victorian Ministry’s embargo on the importation of Tasmanian potatoes was declared to-be invalid by a full court of the High Court of Australia. The court upheld the Tasmanian AttorneyGeneral's claim that the embargo and proclamation imposing it were illegal.
