SCHOOL SWIMMING

TECHNICAL SCHOOL SPORTS SOME EVENTS UNCOMPLETED The annual swimming sports of the Stratford Technical High School were held at the school baths yesterday. Owing to the departure of the Eltham train pupils a few events on the end of the programme, including the several finals in which Eltham pupils qualified, were not decided. No definite time for the completion of the programme was settled, but probably finality will be reached to-day. All the championship sections except that for junior boys were far enough advanced to show the winner and run-ner-up as follows: ’Senior boys, J. Leslie (12 J points), T. Winter C7J); senior girls, M. Townsend (10), S. Reardon (6); junior girls, I. Kermode (10), A. Patterson (5). Members of the staff acted as officials. The results were:—
