TARINGAMOTU TRIALS
A. WOOLSTON’S DOUBLE SUCCESS. GOOD ENTRIES RECEIVED. The second annual meeting of the Taringamotu Collie Club was concluded on Saturday, and interesting work was witnessed by a large number of spectators, competitors being present from all parts of the King Country, Hunterville, Awakino and Port Waikato.
Following are the results:— Huntaway (through three sets of flags): A. Woolston’s (Taringamotu) Dark, 38pts, 1; F. King’s (Awakino) Reekie, 36J, 2; F. King’s (Awakino) Don, 36, 3; R. J. Coogan’s (Tokirima) entry, 35, 4. Head, Pull, Drive and Yard: A. Woolston’s (Taringamotu) Boy, 52pts, 1; D. McLean’s (Raetihi) Bell, 52, 2; F. King’s (Awakino) Black Scott, 48|, 3.
