USENET- DISTRICT ASSOCIATION. COUNTRY SCHOOLS ORGANISE. On Tuesday a well attended was held in the Urenui senool to discuss the forming of a primary schools sports association tb carfy on sports among the country. schools round Urenui. Teachers and representatives of the cbmmittee were present from the following schools, Waiau, Urenui, Mimi, Pukfeafuhfe, Okokfe, Uruti, Mt. Mfessfenger and Mrisker’s. u . a a Mr. Kemp was voted tb the chair ana, after sbfne discussion it was decided to form an associatibn to be called the Urenui district primary schools sports fnefeting should be held on the Urenui domain on March 21. The election 0f officers resulted: President, Mr. Kfefnp; viCe-presideftts, Miss Jones, Mr. Shaft; secretary and treasurer, Mrs. C. M. Fitzgerald; auditor, Mr. G. N. Fuller. Messrs. Henwood, Whitehead and Zimmerman were appointed to the executive. A general cbmmittee consisting of head teachers and one member of each school Coinftlittee .was also set up.
