Miss V. Cowen, Matamata, is the guest df hhf aunt, Mrs. M. J. Butler, Toko. Mito A. Boniface has returned to Mid* hifst from a holiday at w ellington. Miss D. Brown, who has been visiting Mr. and Mrs. Dill, Midhirst, has returned td HaWera. Miss M. Fryday, Midhirst, left oft Wednesday for Wellington, where she will visit relations. Mrs. Butler and Miss Butler, Toko, and Mrs. J. Coyne, Makahu, have returned from a holiday in the Rotorua, Tauranga and Auckland districts. Mrs. R. B. Townley entertained friends bn Tuesday afternoon. Those present Were Mesdames Rdwell, E. H. Young, R. Tyfer, McLean, Misses Taylor and Woods. Mrs. E. Leatham and Mrs. Humphreys, Eltham, and Mrs. R. Leatham, Wellington, were the guests of Mrs. Howard; Midhirst, during the week.-
