ATHLETIC CHAMPIONSHIPS.
EVENTS AT ELTHAM TO-DAY, The West Coast (N. 1. Centre athletic championships will be held at Taumata Park, Eltham, to-day. The track is in good order despite the rain, and the officials have everything in readiness. There are good fields engaged in every event and there should be many close finishes. One alone, the quarter-mile, in which Don Evans and S. A. Black Will meet, should be worth going a long way to see. The excellent arrangements made for spectators include a loud-speaker seavice which will give the public full information of the progress of events.
