William Campbell, aged 37, accountant, and Madge Munro, aged 28, married woman, were charged jointly in the Magistrate’s Court to-day with stealing 146 shares in the Australian Glass Manufacturers Company Ltd., valued at £375, the property of Julia Boutell, at Sydney in July, 1933. On the application of the police a remand was granted to next Friday, bail in each case being fixed at £5OO, with an approved surety of a similar amount. Both accused are tb iepbrt daily to the police. Counsel said his instructions were that both accused had a complete answer to the charge. It was definite that ah extradition application would be resisted.
