Mr. Weston’s connection with swimming in Taranaki goes back for over 10 years. He was a member of the powerful Maranui club at Wellington in the late ’twenties and on his return helped to re-organise New Plymouth Old Boys and lead the team to victory in the New Zealand Championships.
