PUBLIC SUBSCRIBES £44,900,000. ' hospitals Receive £7,003,000. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright, Rec. 5 p.m. London, Feb. 21, In the House of Commons, Sir John Gilmour, Home Secretary, said he estimates that, including sellers’ commission, £44,900,000 had been subscribed to the 13 Irish sweeps, of which approximately £7,603,000 had been allocated to hospitals.
