TARANAKI’S SUCCESS
MOST EFFICIENT BATTALION. REGIMENT IN BRIGADE CAMP. (By Telegraph—Special to News.) Waipukurau, Last Night. The Ist Battalion Taranaki Regiment won the Cook Memorial Cup for the most efficient battalion of the 2nd New Zealand Infantry Brigade in the annual brigade camp at Waipukurau. The offl« cer commanding. Colonel G. F. Bertrand, was presented with the cup by Colonel W. H. Cunningham. The Wellington-West Coast Regiment won the guard-maintaining cup.
